SIS and ET both are programs made by Caterpillar factory. SIS stands for Service Information System, and the other one ET stands for Electrical Technician.
SIS program is used to have a look over caterpillar heavy machines parts like motor parts, gear parts, wiring diagrams of the machine, etc. It has all details required to inspect system operation of the machine.
On the other hand ET is used with its hardware to inspect faults in machine. On the other hand it can show all details of your running machine system. On other words it can show the faults codes, working hours, and other parameters of the system operation.
